SKILLS INTELLIGENCE · EVIDENCE
The ThinkPeople Nexus Malta Skills Observatory turns bounded labour-market evidence into a connected view of demand, skills, pathways, learning and action.
THE EVIDENCE JOURNEY
ThinkPeople Nexus
Malta Skills Observatory
The model keeps labour-market signals connected to the human and organisational decisions they are intended to inform.
We examine advertised vacancies from public employment, professional-network and private recruitment sources across Malta and Gozo. Within each governed evidence cut, records are consolidated, deduplicated and kept traceable to source.
We identify the skills, qualifications, experience and language requirements employers ask for. These are mapped to a recognised European skills framework and remain subject to human review.
We explore realistic transitions between roles through shared skills and adjacent capability, beginning with what people may already bring.
We connect learning options to the skills they may help develop. Proposed matches remain visible for review before they inform a pathway or decision.
We translate the evidence into sector briefs, employer pilots, workforce and transferable-skills reports, and a recorded basis for action.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Skills intelligence is valuable only when its origin, interpretation and limits remain visible.
The view begins with Malta and Gozo, its employers, sectors, institutions and learning context.
Observed, mapped, inferred and assumed information remain distinct. Unknowns remain unknown until evidence or human judgement resolves them.
The work supports pathways, learning and workforce decisions. It does not grade people, determine pay or make hiring decisions.
ThinkPeople Nexus retains methodological and editorial independence over findings developed within the agreed scope.
